This silent keyboard offers a key touch sound approximately one-third the acoustic power of traditional pantograph keyboards, making it an ideal choice for late-night computer work or use in public facilities. Measuring only 11.6 inches (293 mm) in width without a numeric keypad, the ultra-compact design features a small footprint and the ability to stand upright when not in use.

The keyboard's interface is a USB Type-A connector, and it features 85 keys with a 0.75-inch (19 mm) key pitch (excluding letter keys). The key display follows the Japanese 109A layout, and the key switch mechanism is pantograph-based. The keystroke depth is 0.08 ± 0.004 inches (2.0 ± 0.1 mm), with an operating force of 1.8 ± 0.8 oz (50 ± 20 g). The overall dimensions are 11.6 x 4.5 x 0.7 inches (293 x 115 x 19 mm), and the weight is 9.5 oz (260 g). The cable length is 4.9 feet (1.5 m).

Sound measurement conditions involve placing the keyboard 27.6 inches (70 cm) away from the user, with a microphone near the human ear, and recording the noise level during constant key input for one minute. Compared to traditional equivalent products, the conventional keyboard has a noise level of approximately 31 decibels, while this silent keyboard measures around 25 decibels, a reduction of 6 decibels in acoustic power.

The silent effect of this keyboard is achieved by infusing a special grease into the pantograph mechanism. Over prolonged use, this silent effect may gradually weaken, but this is not considered a product defect.

It's important to note that the special functions, such as adjusting screen brightness or volume, are typically assigned to the function keys of the laptop or the original manufacturer's keyboard. These commands may not be available before the Windows operating system starts (during BIOS settings, SCSI board configurations, etc.).
